The City of Lindsay offers bulk trash pick-up for residents of Lindsay, according to a news release.
Bulk materials are picked up twice a month, on Tuesdays, and the schedule is based on the resident’s regularly scheduled trash day.
Residents whose regular trash day is Tuesday are in Zone A. Their bulk trash days are the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Residents whose regular trash day is Friday are in Zone B. Their bulk trash days are the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
There are some guidelines to the bulk materials that will be removed:
• Tree limbs must be cut down to four feet in length, and must be bundled.
• No more than two cubic yards of bulk materials per bulk day.
• No liquids, tires, batteries or paint will be removed.
• Refrigerators and window air conditioner units must have the compressors removed first.
“If you know of a neighbor who cannot get their bulk meterials out for their pick-up day, please help them,” one City official noted. “Let’s all be good neighbors in Lindsay.
