“Come celebrate Christmas at the Murray-Lindsay Mansion this Sun., Dec. 4, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.” That’s the word from Shawn Bridwell of the Lindsay Community Historical Society.
Visitors will be able to walk through the beautifully decorated historic Mansion. This special event has a lot of meaning for the Lindsay Community and represents a beautiful home where the families of the Murrays and the Lindsays enjoyed COMING to GRANDMA’S HOUSE. Both of the grandmas of this family gladly SHARED THEIR HOME with friends and families.
Photos with Santa (with a photographer) will be available on the third floor.
Visitors will also be treated to punch, cider, cookies, and snacks.
The Murray family moved in to the Mansion just in time for their first Christmas in December of 1881.
“Come step back in time with us this year, once again,” Mr.Bridwell added.
The Murray-Lindsay Mansion is located just south of Lindsay on Hwy. 76, then west about a mile at Erin Springs, at 13031 N. County Road 3025.
“Mark your calendars! We look forward to seeing you there,” Mr. Bridwell concluded.
