Quilt Rafflle tickets are still on sale!

Tickets for a quilt raffle benefiting the Pikes Peak School Museum are now on sale. That’s the word from Thelma Love of the Lindsay Community Historical Society.
The quilt is a Row Quilt, and was made and donated by the Churndashers Quilt Guild. The quilt was donated by Pat Sullivan to benefit the Pikes Peak School Museum. An insurance appraisal report values the quilt at $2,200.00.
The winning ticket will be drawn Sat., July 30 at the Pikes Peak Ice Cream Social. The winner does not need to be present.
All proceeds from the raffle will be used to paint the Pikes Peak School Museum.
The quilt is on display at First National Bank, located at 101 S. Main in Lindsay, until the drawing. The winner will pick up the quilt at First National bank on Mon., Aug. 1.
The museum is located south of Lindsay on Hwy. 76, then west at Erin Springs about a mile.
An ad showing the quilt is in this edition of the Shopper News Note.
Those who have questions may contact Ms. Love at 405-919-6146.
