1962 Leopardettes honored

Saturday night in The Big House: The Oklahoma High School Basketball State Championships were held last weekend at The Big House at the Oklahoma State Fairgraounds. Lindsay’s own 1962 State Champion Leopardettes were honored during the evening. Representing the team are Sheneesta Heatly, Diane Estes, and Susan Barry. Ms. Heatly is the widow of legendary Coach Charlie Heatly, who coached the 1962 State Champion Lindsay Leopardettes. Ms. Estes hit the game-winning shot on that 1962 day. Incidentally, legendary Coach Charlie Heatly gave The Big House its name. Lindsay is eternally proud.
