The Lindsay City Council election is set for Tues., Apr. 5, and 11 people have filed for the four open seats.
Four total seats are open: three seats carry a two-year term, and one seat will fulfill an unexpired one-year term.
Candidates are Vern Roe, Angel Wilbourn, Amy Elledge, Billy R. Nye, Jr., Bev Barker, Bart Drennan, Greg Henderson, Tom Inman, Stephanie Palmer, Steve Staggs, and Shanda Hernandez.
The Lindsay City Council has seven seats total. The three members who remain on the Council, and are not up for re-election, are Josh Miller, Robin Staggs, and Anthony Hernandez.
The election is set for Tues., Apr. 5. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
