Opry in the Park set for 4th of July

The Pauls Valley Opry’s fifth annual Opry in the Park is set for this Saturday, the 4th of July, according to event organizer, Becky Hill.

The show is FREE to the public!

The popular event begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Wacker Park Band Shell stage in Pauls Valley.

The Fireworks Extravaganza, put on by the Pauls Valley Kiwanis Club, will begin after the Opry in the Park. This will be an aerial display only (no seed spitting contest, ground displays or added entertainment). The stadium will be closed to the public, so the park provides the perfect spot to enjoy both!

The show features the Memory Makers Band with emcee John Williams. Special guests include many Opry favorites and previous award winners, including Missy Rude, Wiley Winters, Tanner Young, Anne Young, John Williams and Cathy Lake.

Lawn chairs and cool drinks are in order for the outing in the park.

“After three months of cancellations (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) we’re excited for this night of fun and music under the stars,” Ms. Hill added. “Come out and join us, and we’ll see you AT THE OPRY!”
