ACTS OF God. While I was ill, perhaps you said my name in prayer, You held my hand, You sang in my ear a song my Mother held dear. You encouraged my family with a hug or a smile, a group of dear friends gathered united in prayer, foods of all kinds were brought in there. Flowers and gifts to brighten the days, You sat with me through the night-time hours giving my family a break. You untied me as I fought to be loose and stood on each side to make sure I was okay. You protected me when you thought harm was near, but really, all was in God’s hands and dear. You visited me and we laughed and we cried. You gave me Dr. Pepper for which I begged and sighed. You sent and kept sending loving, encouraging cards to lift me up. You were my loving Church family I could depend on so much. You cried when you left because you wanted to stay. You were the ones who made my day. To God be the glory for all You have done – Precious is He – God, the Father; God, the Son. Please accept this Thank You from me to you. I wasn’t capable much of the time to even know all of the things you did do. Lovingly, Martha Johnson (KK, Marty)
