The Tag Agency, Shopper News Note and Smith Office Supply will be closed Mon., Feb. 20 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Singing set at God’s Big Country Church
God’s Big Country Church is set to hold their February Singing this week, Sat., Feb. 18, according to Pastor Jerry Auld.
The singing begins at 7:00 p.m. at the church, located at 2215 County Road 1350 in Blanchard.
“Come out and worship with us in song! Bring your songs, bring your instruments, and join us,” Pastor Auld added.
The church holds their Sunday morning services at 10:30 a.m.

Local church to have tamale sale fundraiser
St Peter’s Catholic Church will be hosting a tamale sale on Sat., Feb. 18, 2023, in the fellowship hall of the church, according to Justin Davis.
The church is located at 801 SE 2nd Street in Lindsay.
The tamales will be pork in red sauce, as well as chicken in green sauce.
All proceeds will go to the children’s Religious Education fund.
