Daylight Saving Time starts Sun., Mar. 10 at 2:00 a.m., marking the shift to brighter evenings. Set your clocks forward one hour.
Clocks advance, though smartphones typically update automatically. Embrace the change by enjoying the extended daylight for outdoor activities.
The Lindsay Living Sanctuary will be selling their famous pulled pork sandwiches this Fri., Mar 8, according to Cindy Grumbles.
The delicious lunch will include a pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, pickles and onions, several different new desserts, and drink.
“We’ll be serving from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Orders are available for pick-up at the church” added Ms. Grumbles. “We won’t be able to offer delivery at this time.”
The church is located at 501 S. Main in Lindsay.

Stand Tall and Donate blood drive is set for Thurs., Mar. 14, according to Tammy Aprill.
The Lindsay Community Blood Drive will be held at the United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The church is located at 114 W. Chickasaw in Lindsay.
The blood drive is put on by the Oklahoma Blood Institute and South Central Medical and Resource Center.
All donors receive their a FREE Stand Tall T-shirt, with front and back design and one FREE entry to the Oklahoma City Zoo (while supplies last).
Donors are reminded to take a photo ID with them to the drive. Those seeking more information may contact Ms. Aprill at 405-756-1414.
