The Erin Springs Baptist Church clothes closet is open in downtown Lindsay on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., according to Brenda Morrow.
EVERYONE is invited to select clothing, and it is all FREE.
Social distancing and masks are required, and no more than three customers will be allowed in the store at a time.
New items are added weekly.

The tenth annual Small Business Saturday will be held Sat., Nov. 30 “to support the local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country,” according to an American Express press release.

Purcell’s annual ‘Lights From the Heart’ opens Thanksgiving Eve, according to a news release.
The drive-through opens at 5:30 p.m. nightly from Thanksgiving Eve through New Year’s Eve, Fri., Dec. 31, and is open until 10:00 p.m. nightly.
The two-mile drive around the Purcell City Lake features over 650,000 lights, including tunnels of Christmas lights.
‘Light From the Heart’ is free of charge, but donations are welcome. The beautiful display is located in Purcell, just off I-35, at exits 91 and 95.
Saturday evenings offer Selfies with Santa and various food an drink vendors.
The lights are made possible by individuals, businesses, volunteers, city employees, the city of Purcell, the city council and the Purcell Tourism Advisory Board.

It’s Tele-Turkey time! Yes, ’tis the season for the Tele-Turkey contest/give-away on KBLP Radio 105.1 FM, according to their ad in this edition of the Shopper News Note.
Tele-Turkey runs through Fri., Nov. 19, and then Mon., Nov. 29 through Fri., Dec. 17 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.
The person called will need to name the last sponsor (commercial) to win a Turkey for Thanksgiving in November, or a Turkey or Ham for Christmas in December. There will also be a Pop Trivia question one time daily Monday through Friday after the last Tele-Turkey call, for a chance to win a six-pack of Pure Cane Sugar Dr. Pepper.
