








Voters are urged to get to the polls Tues., Apr 4 to cast their vote to elect four new city of Lindsay council members and to fill a seat on the Lindsay school board.
Jessica Parker and Larry Will are running in the general election for Lindsay Public School, seat three.
Six candidates have filed for city council positions in the city of Lindsay in the following order: Aaron Aprill, Mark Hall, Don E Lough, Joshua Miller, Vern Roe, Robin Staggs.
All elections are on a non-partisan basis.













The Lindsay Community Food Bank, located at Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay is celebrating it’s one year anniversary this month, according to program coordinator, Lisa Jackson.
The food bank is part of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. It is run entirely by volunteers and is funded by the many generous donations from the city, individuals, companies and organizations. The success of the program is centered around those who have donated and generously given of their time. Ms. Jackson expressed sincere thanks to all who have donated or volunteered.
Ms. Jackson explained that 148 people have volunteered and 40,390 pounds of food has been been distributed since Wed., Mar. 1 2022.
March food pick-up will be this Sat., Mar. 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Anyone needing to apply for the food bank may do so Mon.-Thur. at the church, located at 410 W. Chickasaw.
