Lindsay small business owners looking to learn from fellow small business owner are encouraged to attend a small business gathering Tues., Jan. 24, according to Jason Bridwell.
The purpose of the gathering is for small business owners to work together and open up about marketing struggles, technology struggles or ideas on how to grow business, etc.
Reception time will be from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Jason Bridwell State Farm Insurance Agency, located at 311 W. Cherokee in Lindsay.

Food Bank pick up this evening!
Due to the Christmas holiday, Food Bank pick up will be Thursday evening December 22 from 5:00 until 7:00, according to Lisa Jackson.
Ms Jackson stressed that this will be for the month of December only.
Organizations who would like to volunteer with the Lindsay Community Food Bank should contact Ms. Jackson at 405-756-2781.
Anyone wishing to make a donation, should make checks payable to Lindsay Community Food Bank.
All volunteers and donors are appreciated, Ms. Jackson explained.
Singing set at God’s Big Country Church
God’s Big Country Church is set to hold their Third Saturday Night Singing this week, Sat., Dec. 17, according to Pastor Jerry Auld.
The singing begins at 7:00 p.m. at the church, located at 2215 County Road 1350 in Blanchard.
“Come out and worship with us in song! Bring your songs, bring your instruments, and join us,” Pastor Auld added.
Christmas food and fellowship follows the singing.
The church holds their Sunday morning services at 10:30 a.m. and Christmas dinner will begin around 12:30 p.m.

Christmas parade, and Santa Clause is coming to town!
This Thursday, Lindsay will be chock full of the Christmas spirit!
Lindsay’s Country Christmas themed parade is set for Thur., Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m., with a special appearance by Santa.
The parade will be full of lighted floats, golf carts, and should be bursting with Christmas all over the place!
In plenty of time for Lindsay’s Christmas parade, downtown Lindsay is all dressed up for Christmas with beautiful, lighted wreaths on the light poles on Lindsay’s grand brick Main Street..
And for the kiddos – Santa will be at the Scout Hut from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Those interested in being in the Christmas Parade may pick up a parade entry form from the Chamber, located at 107 N. Main in Lindsay.
Parade winners will be announced after the parade on Main Street.
