Food Bank distributes this weekend

The July Food bank will be Sat., July 29th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 410 W. Chickasaw in Lindsay, according to Lisa Jackson, Food Bank Coordinator.
Sign up for the food bank can be done at any time between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Mon. – Thur. at the church.
Those signing up will be asked to fill out an application.
“We love volunteers, if you would like to help pack boxes on the Thursday before the food bank or help distribute food on Saturday give us a call at 405-756-2781. We accept donations also,” Ms. Jackson explained.

Operation: Creation Vacation Bible School will be held Sat., July 22 at Lindsay Church of Christ, according to a member.
““Operation: Creation” is an enjoyable, Bible-based, educational, and age-appropriate way to equip all ages for a lifetime of defending their faith against the attacks of evolution,” the member explained.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church located at 1205 W. Cherokee St., Lindsay.
Children grades K-5th will enjoy learning the differnces between Creation and evolution, and why we must choose a side.
There will be classes for all ages, crafts, refreshments and more.
“Make plans to join us,” the member added.

Quarterback Club to hold meeting

The Lindsay Leopard Quarterback Club will have their first meeting of the year on Thur., July 20th., according to Rulissa Jones
The group will meet at 5:30 pm at the Football Field house.
Parents or guardians of current 7th – 12th grade Lindsay Leopard football players are encouraged to attend and get involved.
Plans for the upcoming year will be discussed.
“Learn how you can be involved and help make this year a success”, Ms. Jones explained.
