Storytelling by Thelma Howell

Story time with Thelma Howell will be held at the Pikes Peak School Museum, according to Thelma Love.
The topic for Ms. Howell story time will be “It’s all about community.”
Ms. Howell, a long-time resident of the Lindsay community, will share her story on Sun., Mar. 12 at 2:00 p.m.
Many will remember the different restaurants of John and Thelma. They were active in the American Legion and offered many community services to people.
Everyone is invited to enjoy her Family History and participate in some cultural enrichment activities.
This event is hosted by the Lindsay Community Historical Society.

Pulled Pork Sandwiches this Friday

The Lindsay Living Sanctuary will be selling their famous pulled pork sandwiches this Friday, March 10, according to Cindy Grumbles.
The delicious lunch will include a pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, pickles and onions, several different new desserts, and drink.
“We’ll be serving from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Orders are available for pick-up at the church” added Ms. Grumbles. “We won’t be able to offer delivery at this time.”
The church is located at 501 S. Main in Lindsay.
