Memories of Purdy community to be shared

There will be a Purdy Gathering at the Lindsay Library Multi-Purpose Room on Sat., Oct. 7th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., according to Janet Williams
Everyone is invited to attend!
“If possible, please post on our Facebook page “Oklahoma Purdyites Unite Here” if you think you’ll be able to attend so we can have an estimate on seating needs. Twice as many as we expected came last time – which was wonderful – but many had nowhere it sit,” Ms. Williams explained.
Jody Holden has done much research and has put it on a thumbnail with many old photos and stories from Purdy’s past. She has also included old photos and stories posted on our Facebook page from our original Gathering in 2015. Stories include Tully Beverly, Mary Nell Knapp’s grandfather, and so many others amazing stories
