“Everyone has something that makes them absolutely special, and this year at the Summer Reading Program, we get to celebrate that.” That’s the word from volunteer Mary Doten.
The Theme is ‘Everyone Belongs, Show Kindness.’
The program will be held at the Lindsay Library from Mon., July 31 through Fri., Aug. 4, from 9:00 a.m. until noon. The Lindsay Library is located at 112 W. Choctaw in Lindsay.
“This year at the Summer Reading Program, we are going to learn more about kindness,” Ms. Doten explained. Children ages Pre-K through fifth grade are welcome to come join in the fun, Ms. Doten explained.
The program includes snacks, art, books, guests and so much fun.
This year there will also be opportunities for the community to make donations for pet supplies (bowls, collars, food, toys, blankets anything pets may need) to support our local shelter.
“Come join us for some great fun this year at the Summer Reading Program, all on kindness,” Ms. Doten added.
